The Durango “416 Fire” is the sixth-largest wildfire in the history of Colorado, burning over 54,000 acres of public and private land, forcing residents to evacuate their homes, and negatively impacting local businesses by closing them down or depriving them of revenue. Following the 416 Fire, devastating flooding and mudslides have further impacted the Durango and Silverton communities.
The Durango law firm of Duthie Savastano Brungard, PLLC and the nationally recognized Colorado-based law firm of Burg Simpson, have joined together to assist community members harmed by the 416 Fire. These two firms combine decades of experience litigating complex cases in Colorado courts and are intricately aware of the nuances of Colorado law.
Led by Thomas W. Henderson, Peter W. Burg, and David K. TeSelle of Burg Simpson, along with Bobby Duthie, Anthony Savastano, and Ryan Brungard of Duthie Savastano Brungard, our attorneys are dedicated to holding those responsible for the 416 Fire accountable.
Duthie Savastano Brungard, PLLC has served southwest Colorado’s legal needs for generations and both Mr. Henderson and Mr. Burg with Burg Simpson have experience handling cases for forest fire victims in Colorado, recovering tens of millions of dollars in damages. Together, our attorneys look forward to representing and providing a local voice to those people and businesses affected by the 416 Fire.
